Costs

Most people wish to know the likely costs for any legal matter. In some transactions such as selling, buying residential, land or farm we are able to provide a firm quote based on a percentage of the consideration or price together with disbursements. VAT is charged at the statutory rate. This also applies to some Administrations of Estates

In other practice areas we charge on an hourly rate. These rates are available beforehand and will be explained with our “Client Care” letter which is issued at the outset. The amount of time expended will depend on the subject matter, the nature of the matter, the complexity of the issue encountered.

In most cases we are able to provide an estimate of costs and we welcome any queries regarding costs at the outset.
